Biography

Fred GoldenbergFred L. Goldenberg, CSA, started his career over forty years ago with the New York Life Insurance Company.  As an agent he quickly realized that just selling life insurance wasn’t enough and over the years has developed a holistic approach to estate planning which includes all aspects of insurance and the ability to help client’s deal with the multitude of issues they face with each successive decade of their lives. In order to provide his client’s with the best financial opportunities and best guidance toward those services they would need he became a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).

A CSA is a professional who has knowledge about aging and the important health, financial and social issues that affect the majority of seniors. Typically, CSAs already have expertise in a professional discipline – home care, senior housing, law, real estate, health care, clergy, insurance services and financial planning – and have chosen to supplement that existing professional knowledge with the CSA education. While many are licensed in their professional discipline, it is only after they meet all eligibility requirements that they may use the designation Certified Senior Advisor.

In addition to his role as CSA and providing expertise to his client’s numerous needs he is also a bi-monthly columnist for the Traverse City Record Eagle newspaper where his column appears in the business section covering a myriad of social and business topics.
